(Austin, Texas) “The House of Pendragon II: The Recruit” by Debra A. Kemp [978-1-59279-699-1, Amber Quill Press, 2007] was selected as the best Great Lakes Regional book of 2007 by Reader Views Annual Literary Awards. Celtic Myth Podcast Dramatizes Local Author's Fiction

A portion of my novel, The Firebrand was dramatized on Celtic Myth Podshow--Samhain 2008 part two. The whole episode is lovely. But the portion around the seven minute mark made me cry.

Karmic Courage Productions of Indianapolis agreed to film an extensive author interview of me talking about my historical/fantasy fiction based on the King Arthur legends, and especially about the creation of my character Lin ferch Arthur. I met with Kate Chaplin a few weeks ago to brainstorm the idea and broke it down into "chapters" each devoted to a different topic or theme.

The shoot took place this past Saturday. Chuck, who did the audio, posted a blog and some pictures about it. I was too… Continue

Employment Listing Services

Have you inspected an employment listing website that left you totally unfulfilled? I found immediately that there are employment websites that are totally lacking. A leading flaw that I have seen on multiple sites is that they include so many outdated posts that it makes it trying to direct your search. I don’t want to [...]

3D Scanning Technology

There are multiple practical uses for the work of reverse engineering. This engineering science has been applied to replicate thousands of different items from vital constituents of a bridge to old car parts. Reverse engineering has improved many individual industries and the velocity in which they are fit to operate. It is much easier to [...]

How to Get Free Coke Reward Points

This is probably the easiest way to get free Coke Reward Points that you’re likely to find on the web.  All you have to do is sign up at the free auction site Listia.  When you sign up, they give you 100 points to spend on whatever you want.  You don’t have to spend a [...]

Listia: What if Craigslist and Ebay had a baby together?

If Craigslist and Ebay had a bastard child, it would probably look something like Listia.com.  The site allows you to auction off your old junk for “free” and then use the points others bid on your items to buy their “junk” in return.  As one man’s junk is another man’s treasure, it’s easy to come [...]
