I am a writer — novels, short stories, screenplays, all spanning various genres. I have just completed my first young adult novel and am currently in the process of rewrites.
I was extremely honored last year to win First Place in the annual Ray Bradbury Fiction Writing Contest for my short story, "Magnificent Desolation." In addition, my story "Water Babies," which appeared originally in Cemetery Dance magazine, was awarded an Honorable Mention in "The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror," edited by Ellen Datlow. My short story, "Madly, Deeply," appears in the Bram Stoker Award-nominated anthology "Bell, Book & Beyond."
Until recently, I was represented by Mark Ryan of New Brand Agency who has retired in order to pursue new ventures. As such, I am currently seeking new representation.
I am married to artist Donna Kishbaugh and we have two children, Dagan 14 and Bronwyn 9. We also have 11 pets!
