Hi Jerry, looks like you have been very busy. Nice work. I just wrote you a long letter and lost it and I'm too tired to start over.

Jerry - I used raw senna and burnt umber I painted raw senna first, then I used plastic wrap and dipped it into the burnt umber. Pretty cool!

Jerry, Thank you for the comment. I had a hard time working with the color green, but I was pleased to, how the painting turned out.

I really like your work. I did alittle bit of that Japanese Caligraphy when I was in Japan for a few weeks. You're really good at it. I like how "simple" it looks, but its really tough stuff. I have some stuff on my page in my photos. Let me know what you think.

Hi Jerry , I leave for Tennesee Thurs. and I want to thank you ahead of time for taking my art along with yours to be entered into the Hoosier Juried Show. Let's say a little prayer that we will be accepted.
I just sat and watched all your bird, flower, people pictures run through a slide show, they are terrific. You have a real skill at doing something in a very simple way with wonderful color. I haven't said much about you new endeavor, but I'm really not an abstract admirer. so please don't take it personally. Win me over!!!

I found out only 28 art prizes were picked up. We had 67 available. But the problem was people just didn't have enought time to get 6 signatures. So I suggested next year if we do it again make it 3. Vicki figured this out with the amount of time a person had to make the rounds.

I'm trying to get Carol G. and Carol Potter to get me info for publicity before I go and Carol P referred me to Karen and I haven't heard of CG so maybe I'll get nothing in the papers.

I'm going to therapy now 3 times a week for my back and I am really sore tonight. Take care and see you when I return. Lori

Employment Listing Services

Have you inspected an employment listing website that left you totally unfulfilled? I found immediately that there are employment websites that are totally lacking. A leading flaw that I have seen on multiple sites is that they include so many outdated posts that it makes it trying to direct your search. I don’t want to [...]

For Businesses in Chicago, IT Services Extend Savings

For many, Chicago IT services represent a way to save costs and survive tough economic conditions. You can save monumentally with an in-house service over what you’d spend with a full-time professional, yet you get a better degree of service with a range of flexibility to fit your needs. Instead of hiring one employee who [...]

How to Get Free Coke Reward Points

This is probably the easiest way to get free Coke Reward Points that you’re likely to find on the web.  All you have to do is sign up at the free auction site Listia.  When you sign up, they give you 100 points to spend on whatever you want.  You don’t have to spend a [...]

Listia: What if Craigslist and Ebay had a baby together?

If Craigslist and Ebay had a bastard child, it would probably look something like Listia.com.  The site allows you to auction off your old junk for “free” and then use the points others bid on your items to buy their “junk” in return.  As one man’s junk is another man’s treasure, it’s easy to come [...]
