The United States Achievement Academy announces that Tyler B. Dolan of Carmel has been recognized as a student of excellence in mathematics.

This is a prestigious honor very few students can hope to attain. The Academy recognizes fewer than 10 percent of all American high school students.

Erin Ladd of Cicero attended Hoosier Girls State conducted by the Indiana Department of the American Legion Auxiliary June 22 through 28 at the campus of Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind.

She participated in a program designed to educate young women of Indiana in the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of citizenship. She learned and lived in the political system of a mythical city, county and state for a week.

The 1968 Noblesville High School Class Reunion will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at Forest Park Inn in Noblesville.

The cost is $35 per person in advance and $40 per person at the door.

There will be a caterer to provide food and drink, along with a cash bar.

“CHOOCH” will be entertaining the guests.

A golf outing will be planned at Forest Park Golf Course.

Kristen Weiss, a 2008 Westfield High School graduate, received the Westfield Woman’s Club Kristen Rice Memorial Scholarship of $500 at the Westfield High School’s Senior Award Night June 2.

Kristen is the daughter of Dave and Becky Weiss and will attend Purdue University this fall and plans to major in youth, adult and family services.
