About Me:

I grew up in Indianapolis, graduated from Purdue and moved to Noblsville about 17 years ago. My husband, Byron and I have three children. I am an artist and enjoy painting a variety of subjects. The Hamilton County Artists Association has been a wonderful influence on the direction my art has taken since I became a member a year ago.

I loved working there, everyone was great to work with and it is too bad it had to end, but the newspaper business IS very tough to be in now as online has taken away alot. I personally would rather sit on my couch with a newspaper made out of paper, than sit in front of a computer and read it. I will try to get out to meet you on the Square. I do other art too, but as it is difficult to make a living doing such things. I backed up my education with graphic design. I mainly do photography and sculpture, not much on painting and drawing, wish I was, but I do love photography and will eventually be doing it full time on the road, but for now I am stuck here until my house is paid for, but I need a job to keep my house. I went to Liber State Park last weekend and took some pics so that I can paint I hope this weekend. I also want to go kayaking this weekend to. I sure am glad it is a 3 day weekend so I can get all this done before I have to work again.

I haven't yet really, as I need a bunch of frames and cannot get them at the moment, but would love to do a show of my best photos. Did you see my barn painting? It is from Lynnwood Farms that was at 122nd and River Road, which is now a golf course. I love doing architecture that is about to be demolished so as to have a record of its existance. I am more of a photographer and sculptor than drawing and painting. I can do it, but I love three dimensional work most. I studied at Herron for 6 years, cause I loved being there so much. Nothing like being around a bunch of creative souls. So what do you like doing besides painting? Are you into history and such. Write me when you can. I work at the Noblesville Daily Times as the chief graphic designer. So most of the ads in the paper are by me.

I love to take photos and I took 40 rolls of 36+ exposures whilst in Italy studying art and architecture. I appreciate the comment and will keep on doing it, soon I will do it full time on the road, when I retire.
