More than 10,000 people were anticipated to attend the annual Beck’s Hybrids Field Show at the company’s headquarters in Atlanta through today. Attendees learn about the many different varieties of corn and soybean seeds offered, get to see up close the differences and advantages depending on soil and growing location. Tours of the facility are given showcasing harvest operations, planting methods and other examples of maximizing their yield.
Food and drink are provided with demonstrations of strength and electricity safety presented as well as kids areas for face painting, T-shirt making and other fun activities.
The event continues through 4 p.m. Saturday and is free.
