Anna O’Cull, seamstress, of Westfield participated in the Wedding and Formals category of the Seyfert’s Indiana State Fair Fashion Show Sunday, Aug. 10, at the Indiana State Fair Grounds in Indianapolis.

Her daughter, Heather O’Cull modeled her dress.

The competition consisted of winners from counties throughout the state. Judging was based on clothing construction, poise, fashion accessories and the completed look of the model.

An Honor Group was selected in each category with O’Cull’s dress being awarded first place.

This fashion show competition is an annual event at the State Fair and is conducted by the Seyfert’s Home and Family Arts Building Staff. Each participant must have won at the county level in order to progress to the State Fair competition.

Listia: What if Craigslist and Ebay had a baby together?

If Craigslist and Ebay had a bastard child, it would probably look something like Listia.com.  The site allows you to auction off your old junk for “free” and then use the points others bid on your items to buy their “junk” in return.  As one man’s junk is another man’s treasure, it’s easy to come [...]
